Where access to fresh water is limited, load banks can be used directly in the sea. Regulation is achieved by raising and lowering electrodes in the water. These electrodes are guided through composite channels and only come into contact with seawater approximately 50 cm below the surface, ensuring that moderate waves have minimal impact on the load.The stated power capacities apply to 440 V and 690 V.
